Use this spell to honor the element of water and to encourage rain and fertility in times of drought. In a clear glass bowl, place sea shells and stones associated with the water element, such as moonstone, clear quartz, aquamarine, or a combination of these. Fill the bowl with water. Place floating candles on the water or light an assortment of white, blue, and green candles and place them around the bowl. Remember that water cannot be created. When we honor the element of water, we raise our awareness of the necessity of protecting this sacred resource. Use the water as an offering by pouring it onto a plant when you’re finished.
Water, river, rain,
and lake,
Help me to know
what I take.
Ocean, sea, ice,
and snow,
Water makes all
life to grow.
Grant us wisdom
in your ways,
