Pluto in Capricorn (From David’s blog)

Pluto in Capricorn (From David’s blog)

Moon void of course (leaving Scorpio) exact at 6:32 AM CST

Moon enters Sagittarius, exact at 11:14PM CST

Okay… so far so standard. I mean the moon is a fast girl! But *then* I read the next one and almost fell off of my porch:

Pluto enters Capricorn, exact at 7:03 PM CST

WHAT?! Seriously, even doing astrology as I do, this completely caught me off guard. Whereas the moon changes signs 12 times in about 28 days (plus a bit), Pluto only changes signs every 12 to 32 YEARS. It was in Sagittarius from 1995 until today, and will be in Capricorn until March 23, 2023.

So, between my friend Em’s blog on the shift of the moon as connected to the Mayan calendar (GREAT blog! http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=43200080&blog…) and this, it is truly the dawning of a new era for the world.

The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was from 1762 through 1777.

Here are the details from my primary source for the charting that I do for people, the Astrologer’s Handbook (written in 1973):

“Capricorn is a sign dealing with political and economic power structures, profession, status, ambition, and leadership. During the years in which Pluto was in Capricorn, new concepts of government were born. Their most notable manifestation was in the American Declaration of Independence in 1776. The birth of democratic forms of government at this time began the displacement of aristocratic power structures.

When Pluto again enters Capricorn, a world government based on the best interests of all mankind will begin. This government will be founded on new social, legal, educational, and religious concepts, which will be developed during Pluto’s stay in Sagittarius.

The generation that will be born with Pluto in Capricorn will manifest dynamic, practical will in organization, business, and government. This will be based on the concept that all human beings must be given a chance to develop their own potential according to their ability and self-discipline.”

So, between Em’s blog on the Moon shift and the shift of Pluto, this has been one HELL of a month from a planetary perspective! Notice any changes in your life? I’ve had some major ones lately….

So, enjoy! Oh, and if you would like to compare the different Plutos, here is Pluto in Sagittarius, from 1995 through November 26, 2008:

(1995 through 2008) [written in 1973: the writers had inferred the year 2000, but it is actually 1995 — DWS]

“Sagittarius is a sign of religion, law, philosophy, higher education, and travel. Pluto will enter Sagittarius around the year 2000, marking a period of spiritual regeneration at the beginning of the Aquarian age. At this time there will be a fundamental understanding of deeper spiritual values among all people. Religions as they are known at present will be completely transformed. There will be one world religion based on man’s direct intuitive communion with the One Creator. New spiritual leaders will arise to teach the fundamental laws governing all life in the universe. The new world religion will combine all the highest expressions of the great religions of the past, with a more comprehensive scientific understanding of the underlying forces of life.”

Enjoy the new world order!

Peace,

David

  1. It is wonderful to be alive at the start of a New Age. Great news for our planet: “When Pluto again enters Capricorn, a world government based on the best interests of all mankind will begin.”, with the Aquarian era, this promises to be a great time. On a selfish note, glad to feel the moon move into my sign, Sagittarius, I can use the energy boost.
