Samhain Tarot Layout

Nov 6, 2006

************ ********* ********* ****
Samhain Tarot Layout
************ ********* ********* *****

Happy Halloween, Samhain, and Dia de los Muertos!

The leaves are changing color, getting ready to fade and fall.
Now is the time to look back over the year and see how far you’ve come with
your dedications and resolutions. Can you remember what promises you made to
yourself when the year was fresh and young?

Shuffle and cut the tarot cards as you prefer. Draw one card to answer each question:

1 Am I where I need to be?
2 What have I forgotten?
3 What is before me yet?
4 What needs to rest?
5 What do I need to let go of?

Think about the meaning behind each card and each position in the layout. Think about your year’s work and your goals. Now is the time to let go of what you are done with – to lighten your load for the final push of your year.

1. 8 of Cups (duh)
2. The Tower (16) ??? What have I forgotten!?!?!?!
3. King of Cups (my soulmate?)
4. King of Spears (Denny?)
5. 10 of Swords (another probable duh)

Hmmm…

Em

I'm Me!

  1. Kris, I believe that the Tower means that you have forgotten that change is not only good, but a necessary part of life. Things change. And while it may be painful, in the end it will be fine. Are you going through a difficult transition right now…?

    Here is mine:
1-> Knight of Cups (An approaching opportunity for advancement.)
2-> 15. The Horned One (Devil) (I have forgotten how to be bad?)
    3-> 17. The Star (Wow!)
4-> 5 of Spears (Strong competition in a lengthy struggle.)
5-> 7 of Shields (I need to let go of success and gain?!?!?!)
That last one is the only one that I don’t quite understand…
