I really should put all these in one place…
It’s not like I’m redefining myself, but more like I get more and better words to explain depending on who I am presenting to.
Here is my latest
Hi everyone. I’ve been an empath my entire life.
I remember as a youngster asking my friends if they were okay when I knew they weren’t. And I would tell them “you don’t have to tell me what’s wrong, but I can feel that something is so don’t try to tell me it’s nothing”
My class was full of cliques and my parents (mom especially) wanted me to be friends with the “important” and “popular” girls, but they were so shallow, I just couldn’t…
Didn’t know the word for it, of course, but one day was chatting with a gal from my hometown and the word “empath” came up and we both realized that we were both empaths and both had enough experiences that we thought we should start a FB group for empaths. This was over 10 years ago and I feel that we may have helped at least some people with that.
That by itself is a huge part of my spirituality.
I feel close to earthy elements, nature spirits, fae folk, and anything related to yoga.
I’m eclectic and I just flow with whatever feels right to me, but it can change.
Just like my spirit guides keep changing (or maybe new ones keep coming to me) A lemur, a red wolf, a snowy owl, I have learned so much from them.
I found my forever home in central Minnesota. 14 acres of beautiful land with evergreens, 3 willows, 4 maples, various oaks and cottonwood trees, a small pond and 6 cherry trees, one apple tree and a lilac bush. For the past 10 years I have been visiting a pagan retreat center and people would leave offerings and magical items and such along trails.
So we decided to do that here… we are slowly adding things like wind chimes and small statues and various things along paths that already existed or that we made since moving here.
Magic is a part of my daily life and I couldn’t be happier.
