A question came up on my FB page:
My status stated..
KB takes chances… lots of them. Because honestly, no matter what happens, it always ends up just the way it should be.
And there was some doubt, as always about what this means:
My response was:
1st, I believe in reincarnation… that’s important in my concept of life.
The way I believe is our “soul” or “spirit” or whatever you want to call it chose our path (there are books about this… right now I’m reading Mary Summer Rain) to experience life. It’s like that quote, we are souls having a human experience. Life isn’t always about good things, so I believe our souls get to experience everything in their journey to reach “heaven” or “enlightenment” or whatever you wish to call it.
So, the way I see it, our soul knows what kind of “hell” we are going to experience prior to choosing the “life description — read job description.. *grin*)
What do we strive for? We strive for balance.
Balance is our goal. For each bit of good, there will be bad. When we only seem to see the bad, we are forgetting that there is good balancing that.
Also, sometimes, we have soul-mates, soul-children, soul-families, who need to experience something. I believe in the bonds of family, so I think our souls sometimes choose a life that might be to help or educate or allow someone to “experience” stuff that isn’t so great. I believe after we leave that life, it makes us even closer to our soul family.
We might not be able to figure out our “experience” and why it isn’t how we dreamed, but, I do feel, as we strive for balance and help others strive for balance, the reasons can become more clear.
Something I have learned lately that I hadn’t really thought about.
We shouldn’t strive to be happy or rich or anything.
We should only strive for balance.
After, you can’t have good without bad, you can’t have rich without poor, etc.
Balance and a good healthy balance should be everyone’s goal..
Hmm.. maybe I’ll change my status to that tomorrow. *grin*
That’s pretty good!!
(if I do say so myself.. LOL I know, it’s been said before, but it means more to me now..)
